Hello! My name is Arti Jain and I'm a student journalist based in St. Louis, Missouri. I've worked extensively with my school's paper, Ladue Publications — serving as the Executive Editor in Chief and Website Editor in Chief, among other roles. I currently manage a staff of 51 student journalists in producing a newsmagazine, magazine, literary magazine, website and social media.

Alongside Ladue Publications, I am the editor in chief of iGeneration Youth's Teen and Kids magazines. We create newsmagazines at both the middle and high school levels with the intent of informing students across the world on global and cultural events. Additionally, I've completed an internship at a local paper, working 80 hours within a newsroom to increase my professional proficiency and specializing in stories about politics and community events.​ I've worked with the Student Press Law Center as part of their New Voices Institute in furthering student press freedom in the state of Missouri and beyond, and was a 2024 Elon University Emerging Journalists Program cohort member. I've also served as a journalist for both the Ladue Education Foundation and Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service.

 

​​​In my free time, I'm a political canvasser and Bharatanatyam dancer — activities that allow me to uplift voices across Missouri.
